I might revisit it sometime in the future, but I’ve spent the last week or so working on a new track, which is somewhat more progressive and deep than my first one. The sounds of it might not suit everyone, but it’s more similar to what I prefer, as I’m not too fond of melodic trance these days (nor have I been for the last 5 years).

So, I’ve put a version of Sauna, which is the new track, up for download. I’ll probably make some minor edits to it in the coming days, but nothing spectacular. Hope you like it, and please leave some feedback in the comments on the bottom of the downloads page, where you’ll find the link to the track aswell.

So I figured I might aswell post this unfinished version of the track and hope for some feedback, and I also upped a short clip of another track I’ll be working more on in the future, Pseudo.

It’s a progressive trance track with a melodic atmosphere to it, the strings and melody has a summer-feel to it, and it’s pretty relaxed alltogether.

So, please head on over to the downloads section and check it out, I would appreciate any comments or feedback, be it positive or negative.

There were some quite heavy code modifications that had to be done, but it should function exactly the same as before now.

For those of you that don’t know, LiquidFM is a radio project of mine, and streams mainly trance and progressive trance, featuring live djs, forums, interview, reviews and more. If you haven’t checked it out yet, I strongly recommend you to. As of right now the content is “slightly” outdated, but we’ll get up to speed soon enough now that everything is in place.

I’m still working on my first track, and it’s been on hold for a while as I’ve been waiting for monitors etc. so I can mix and master it properly. I should recieve my new gear within a week or so, and I’ll continue working on it when I do.

I might get started with a new track meanwhile, as I can still do alot of the basics using quality headphones etc. I will post a full preview of the track in the downloads section once I’ve completed it and done a rough mix & master. Hopefully there will be some feedback to it, as I need input and view so that I can learn and improve.  And some of you might even like it, it’s a rather slow progressive trance track, with a nice ambient atmosphere to it.

Now I’m just waiting for my new audio interface and some high-quality cables, and I should be all set.

I should finally be able to mix and master my first track, which I’ve put on hold since I couldn’t really get any proper feedback from my headset. These monitors play quite nicely, a set of KRK Rokit RP6 SE, which I got at a fantastic price from a neary dealer.

Without the terrible interference from my onboard soundcard, I’m sure it’ll sound even better. Yes yes, I’m aware these aren’t the flattest and most perfect monitors out there, but for the price they’re a bargain, and they’ll do more than enough for me for a while.

Now, lets get back to producing!
